USA Football League Scouting Combine XLV
USA Football League Scouting Combine XLV
Take part of the historic unveiling of the "Combine Combine" event at this year's USA Football League Scouting Combine!
This game was made entirely in Rust using the wonderful Bevy game engine and is my submission for the 2nd Bevy game jam! The theme of the jam was "Combine" interpreted however you'd like. I hope you enjoy it and let me know your thoughts in the comments! Also, check out the other games in the jam! Please read the Notes section below for how to play as well as suggestions for how best to run the game.
WARNING: I mistakenly added code in a way that forces the game to run fullscreen and didn't realize I'm so sorry :( It's too late to fix it for the jam, unfortunately. The latest version has a fix for this in that it'll fullscreen within the browser tab. If you want to exit the game and return to this page, use your browser back button.
Also, The browser version may have a couple audio issues initially but they get better once the game gets going. Additionally, you may find better performance on Chrome vs Firefox. Also, you may see some black triangles on some of the 3D models.
ALSO: if you have a controller plugged in, it may make the keyboard not work. If you're using a controller, use the analog stick to move!
Description
USAFLSCXLV is singleplayer action game where you attempt to score as many touchdowns as you can while avoiding professional football players, navigating a corn maze and also avoiding a combine machine harvesting the maze.
Notes
If using a browser, this game runs better in Chrome versus Firefox, and the downloadable executables work best. Plugging in a controller will sometimes make the keyboard no longer playable.
